TTC UPDATE – JULY 18, 2016 The St Clair Station Roofing and Streetcar Passenger Platform Replacement work will begin on Monday July 18th, 2016. On Monday, the 74 Mt Pleasant, 88 South Leaside, and Wheeltrans bus stops will be removed from the bus loop and relocated to Pleasant Blvd, while (some overnight and early morning work) will be conducted to build the new temporary loading platform in front of the Station’s Pleasant Blvd entrance in time for July 20th (when the 512 buses will be removed from the streetcar loop). From July 20th customers will board 512 St Clair buses at the new temporary loading platform in front of the Pleasant Blvd entrance (the streetcar platform and a portion of the bus platform will be closed due to construction until December). Customer service ambassadors will be on hand at this station to assist customers with the changes. The St Clair Station streetcar loop will be hoarded off and closed for customer use (however, an accessible pathway from the main entrance to the elevator will remain throughout construction).
